Medical Boards, Power and Political Agendas: The Case of Dr. Meryl Nass

Dr. Meryl Nass

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Dr. Meryl Nass faced the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine having had her medical license suspended on January 12, 2022.

Dr. Nass, a member of the CHD scientific advisory committee, is an internist with special interests in vaccine-induced illnesses and is a biological warfare epidemiologist.

The Maine Board suspended Nass’ license following four complaints they received between October and December 2021. One of these came from a physician who accused her of prescribing “deworming medication” (ivermectin) and one came from a midwife and related to Nass’ prescribing hydroxychloroquine. The other two came from stangers who complained of ‘misinformation’ they saw on the internet. The board also ordered Dr. Nass to undergo a psychological evaluation.

This is the first time in 42 years of practising medicine that Nass has had a malpractice case or a board action taken against her.

In this interview with Tessa Lena, Dr. Nass describes the circumstances leading up to her having her medical license temporarily suspended for spreading COVID “misinformation”.

Dr. Nass is fighting back and the hearing into her suspension is shining a welcome light on a process that enables medical boards to abuse their power, by following dangerous and scientifically fraudulent political agendas, and in the process destroy the lives of conscientious, competent physicians.
